Does your roofer truly have you covered?
Redfish Roofing Company maintains accident and claims coverage for both onsite damage to your home and to our workers.
To request documentation prior to service or during service, please get in touch and we will send additional information about our coverages.
Why it matters in Texas
Texas does not license roofing contractors at the state level. That means anyone with a ladder and a truck can print a business card after a hailstorm. If an uninsured crew member is hurt on your roof, or a bundle of shingles goes through your skylight, the exposure can land on your homeowner's policy.
- Ask for a certificate of insurance issued directly by the carrier, not a photocopy.
- Confirm both general liability and workers' compensation coverage.
- Confirm the policy dates cover the days your roof is actually being built.
- Ask who is on the roof — employees or day labor hired that morning.
We are happy to answer every one of those questions in writing before you sign anything.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see your certificate of insurance?
Yes. Ask before or during service and we will have documentation of our coverages sent to you.
Are roofers licensed in Texas?
Texas has no state roofing licence, which is exactly why insurance, manufacturer certifications and a real local address matter so much when choosing a roofer.
